A growing community working with the council on a sports hub and a new community centre, arising out of clear and demonstrated need.

Haven has the highest state percentage of young families living in the area, which proves it is a great place to live. The catchment, including McKenzie Creek, Bungalally and Horsham South, is likely to be in the vicinity of 4,000 people.
The community hall is used in excess of 500 times a year by a long list of user groups, and is also hired for weddings, birthdays, seminars and as a relief centre. The twenty-three-acre reserve continues to be under precinct planning, with one of the main demonstrated needs being to replace the old public hall with a new community centre.
The Haven Market has been running since 2007 and was originally a fundraising activity to help with improvements on the reserve. A petition organised in 2013 gathered more than 600 signatures supporting improved facilities.
Working with the council and community on the vision of a sports hub for a variety of sports at the one reserve.
Planning for a new multi-use building to service all of the reserve's user groups, replacing the old public hall.
The committee works continually with the council to develop this precinct into a great space for the community and its many visitors.
